Long-term pass prediction, new satellites and more!

We’ve just released a new update! Below you can find a list of the most important improvements and fixes.

New

  • increase the time span for satellite pass prediction to 60 days
  • increase API limits for Plus and Pro users
  • add Umbra and Capella space satellites
  • improve image visualisation on the map using higher-resolution tiles
  • add recently used observation cards to the channel sidebar for single-click access
  • allow to select all visible satellites with “shift+enter” in the satellites panel
  • add a fullscreen button
  • make the dashboard the default view for the user
  • set theme mode based on system settings

Bug fixes

  • fetching imagery timed out for some areas
  • the screenshot button affects app layout and usability and took 15s+ to complete
  • very-high-resolution imagery failed to fetch
  • the map was not visible on Safari version 15.2 and below
  • NDVI visualisation failed for some images
  • the overpass list was empty when adding multiple satellites with different sensors
  • the first row of overpasses was hidden in an expanded view
  • map didn’t zoom to a location when creating an observation from the search field
  • the map was hidden under image preview on mobile devices
  • the cloud coverage filter is not working
  • incorrect metatags when sharing observations
  • “No data available” is displayed when overpass data is still being fetched
